The issue: The Vikings have several areas they would like to address in this draft but none might be as pressing as right tackle. Adding a center also is a possibility....

Re: Draft focus part III: Offensive line
I won't be upset whether we grab a OT, or a WR in rnd 1, then the other in rnd 2. I have confidense that our FO have done their homework, and have broken down every scenerio that draft could present. Rnd 1 will be the BPA for our needs, whether that's a OT, or a WR we'll have to see. I don't agree with the STribe's reporters too often, but we must bolster our O-line, and give our QB another target.

In fact, I wouldn't be to upset/suprised if they took a LB, CB, DT or even a RB.
;DMany many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Starting with Ron Yary in 1968, the Vikings have taken seven tackles in the first round, and all have done well.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Offensive tackles are again a commodity in this year’s NFL draft. Might the Minnesota Vikings hone in on that group with their first-round pick?...

Finally, a pick I can get behind for the first round. WR is a need, but not in the first.
