    Darren McFadden ;D
We would have the threesome of doom.

Honestly, I am glad we don't have a top 5 pick because you have to pay too much for an unproven player.
I am sooooo ready for the real draft.
Rock out with your cock out!!!

    Re: Draft Dreaming....

It would be tough to pass on Dorsey even with the two guys we have at the position ... but I think in the end I would be taking Chris Long from Virginia.
The guys is a pass-rushing stud who also stops the run well and gets in passing lanes. He played in
a hybrid 3-4/4-3 defense and even when only rushing three often found he was to the QB. I think he will be a star for years to come for whichever team is lucky enough to nab him.
I think Dorsey and Jake Long are also great as well ... and whoever picks in the top three will be getting an anchor piece at one of these three positions.

    Matt Ryan.
Best quarterback. Give up on Jackson. We are obviously not taking a quarterback or giving up on Jackson but I'm the GM so tough.

So you're going to trade away most of our draft picks so we can move up to Atlanta's spot to take Ryan? While I love Ryan and think he'll be a great NFL QB in a few years, we just can't trade away all our picks to get there.

Please tell me where in my quote did I say "Let's trade away all our picks to move up and take Ryan." No where. Your comment is invalid. The point of the thread is you can take anyone because everyone is available. Geez.

Let for a second assume that you are the GM of the Vikings and you have the choice of any of the incomming rookies to draft assumming that any and all are available.

Which prospect would you draft and why?

I am curious to see what position gets drafted the heaviest, plus if you give a detailed enough answer on the prospect to learn of others view of these prospects.

    Thanks.

you look like someone I converse with at packerforum...hmmmm

    C. Long

This playoff series has shown me that an effective pass rush can more than make up for weaknesses in the secondary.

    Dorsey.
    Best player in the draft.
Pat is getting up there, Dorsey can play almost every down and next to Kevin....man, what a nightmare for opposing teams.
He'd anchor that line, as was mentioned, for a long, long, long time.
