Thread: Draft Dreaming....

Let for a second assume that you are the GM of the Vikings and you have the choice of any of the incomming rookies to draft assumming that any and all are available.

Which prospect would you draft and why?

I am curious to see what position gets drafted the heaviest, plus if you give a detailed enough answer on the prospect to learn of others view of these prospects.

This is a no-brainer.
Even though this obviously is not a need for the vikings, he is by far the BPA and will be an anchor on defense for the next decade.

Jake Long OT Michigan

I think he will be a stud and if teh Vikes are determined to make the current(God forbid) situation work. They need to make the right side of the line better.
Jake Long aside I think and would not be surprised if a OT is the Vikes pick in the first round

I like Jake but feel he might be overrated. I think our need at DE is the biggest concern.

I have to agree and take Chris Long as well, I wouldn't mind Jake Long if he was here to give McKinnie a kick in the nuts to get him motivated to pass block for a change
