:?: in the 2006 pro football weekly draft guide, they have the vikes taking LB D'Qwell Jackson from maryland. he very athletic, instinctive and versatile. he could very well be the next derrick brooks. thats what they say. Any info on this guy or opinions?

Yeah D'Qwell looks good, i just wouldnt like to see us take him in the first round. if we still needed a LB in the second then he could be a good choice. another thing is we got E.J. from the same school and he looked even better than D'Qwell and look how thats been so far.

All depends what the Vikes in store as far as the QB position goes.. There has been rumor layely that the Vikes are going to package a deal together to get a better spot up front in the draft and take one of the top three QB's.. If they do that, then drafting a LB is out of the question..

The #2 spot aka Matt Leinhart is kinda up in the air since New Orleans took Drew Brees.

D'Quell will be available in the second round.

Well if you believe Childress we won't take him if he is there because we have a MLB on our roster.

Jackson has the ability to play any linebacker position in the Tampa-2. Besides, even if we have someone who can play in the middle, a little competition won't hurt.
