    LMAO.

Ijust moved you down 2 columns on the spreadsheet.:P

Move me down too then ... for some reason, I really cannot stand Stanzi. I watched 8 or 9 Iowa games over the last two seasons and really feel like he is a college QB and nothing more.

If we get him, I would love to be proven wrong, but I don't think he will be a solid NFL QB.
OK. Got you dropped to the bottom too then.:P
ohhhhhhhhhh i just realized your picture is iowa, not the packers. i always figured you lost a bet or something and had to put the avatar. makes so much more sense now.
I thought the same until you posted this.

Didn't really pay that much attention and since it's such a small picture I didn't really notice it.
I am NOT here to provide good football insight or rational observations. I am an emotional 19 year old Viking fan and I expect you to adjust your expectations from my posts.

I just don't buy into the idea that a few articles or blogs would cause GM's of teams to drop players at this point.

Said this before in another thread a few weeks ago......

Kirwan said that basically he's never seen someone from PFT or a paper like that ever make a draft pick. All they worry about is readers.

GM's on the other hand have their own staff to research players backgrounds and don't rely on newspapers for their info.

He went on to say that any team that is looking at drafting a kid this year has done their "Due Dillegence" and will have found out all there is to know about the kid and in greater detail than any paper might have.

If a player slips this time of year, it will be because teams found something on their own, or the kid didn't have the talent teams were looking for and won't have anything to do with what a paper says.

If true, he truely needs to straighten himself out.. He might just have lost a lot of dollars, i truely feel that this could be a deciding factor on how far he can fall..

Its not making me like Jake Locker more though..
Mallett worries me. I don't like the way he falters in key situations. I admit I didn't see much of him in college but I remember two instances where he threw key INTs.
    +1

IIRC he didn't have the greatest bowl game, the chance to show the whole world what he can do and why he is rated as high as he is, and he kinda choked.

Good to see your smiling Avatar my friend.

I wouldn't be to upset with Orton, but kindof consider him along the lines of a Garcia.

Good reliable starter, but not a long term answer. Long story short, a guy like Orton means you don't think you can get to the SB, you just need him to take some reps while your rook gets ready to do that.

I would much rather see the rook get reps instead of Orton, if that makes sense.
Gotta go with ej on this one marr. Orton has proven to be pretty good in Denver. His last year with the Bears he was looking very good until his injury. He did not have time to heal up that year because Grossman was pathetic and Orton came back to help the team while he was still injured.
He is young enough that he could still play for quite a few years.
Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.

Don't get me wrong, I like Orton but I kindof hold him in the same area as a Jeff Garcia. Good, capable, but not what we need to get this team over the hump.

If we are going to burn picks on a vet, I hope its for a guy like Kolb who I think can get us over the hump. If its not Kolb then I want them to invest those picks in a rook that will get us over the hump.

Again, McNabb, Orton, good QB's that we will/would win with under Center, but I'm tired of winning a few games. I want to get over the hump.

We've had 50 yrs of QB's that haven't been able to get us over the hump. Why start now?
