Re: donnie edwards ? ?
I haven't even heard if the Vikings have any interest in him..... which is stupid... he could help us for 2 or 3 years and meanwhile he could help the younger guys. No brainer!

Thanks Lotza!

Maybe there's a rap on in league circles that we don't know about. Public didn't know about Cris Carter's drinking problem for years. We all thought that Buddy Ryan was stupid.

Re: donnie edwards ? ?
This guy is not an option anymore if they did want him he would be here now learning our version of the Tampa 2 so start judging our players to figure out who will be the MLB.

Chargers | Team getting no bites for D. Edwards
Fri, 16 Jun 2006 20:03:23 -0700
Kevin Acee, writing for the Sporting News, reports the San Diego Chargers have received almost no legitimate interest in LB Donnie Edwards, who the team has been trying to trade. His 2006 salary is too big for most teams to justify for a 33-year-old linebacker who lacks the size to be a force at the line of scrimmage.

Re: donnie edwards ? ?
Yeah Edwards has been a little to hyped up around here lately. Hes to old to be relying on imo. Id rather develope our youngsters who have tons of talent they just need coaching.

Re: donnie edwards ? ?
I would love to have him but we can't spend that much money and build our tampa 2 around a 33 year old player.
But if this was an option on my madden franchise you know I would do it in a second hahahaha.

i know what you are saying, but i don't see much talent!! Dontarious Thomas is the only guy i see that can really improve besides Ben Leber and Chad Greenway!! I wouldn't mind bringing in a Veteran so one of these "youngsters" can learn from him!!! Even though he is getting old, he still has good range for playing MLB, which is good in a Tampa 2!!! But it is getting over hyped on this website!!! I think we are making a big story out of nothing!!! Until someone in the papers or ESPN or NFL Network comes out and tells us that the Vikes are interested in a trade with him, i just don't see it happening!!!Yeah Edwards has been a little to hyped up around here lately.
