You would think so, but somehow Edwards managed to get himself in the police blotter while he was a free agent. That does not show much in the way of maturity or critical thinking skills. How much money did he cost himself by not waiting another week until he was signed to have a kitchen brawl with his buds?

I should say I don't know what actually happened. But usually the service at a restaurant has to be pretty bad before I attack my waiter with a fork.

Both Edwards and Floyd were only #2's simply because they played behind more talented guys. Edwards/Holmes, Floyd/Jackson.

If Edwards has fixed his concentration lapses and would be affordable, I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him in (he is a better blocker too).

Edwards is a year younger- my bad. He has 7 years in vs. only 6 for Floyd, so maybe wear and tear will be less?

Edwards is two years younger in playing age (18 months in real life). He will be 28 when the season starts and Floyd will be 30.

The biggest reason I would like Edwards over Floyd is raw talent. Edwards has it NO DOUBT. But he can be a head case. Floyd does seem to be a worker, but his high end is not as good as Edwards.

I would be more than happy with either of them. But I would be thrilled with Edwards.
