Del, whats your View of the upcoming Draft?

    Hey Del,

Lots of talk lately on the upcoming draft, since you took a little break during this time, was wondering, could you enlighten us with some of your thoughts and theory's....

    Trade Up?
    Trade Down?
    Stay with our #7?

    Positions needs?
    ect. ect.

If you missed it, I believe we may actually try to make a trade to move up to #3
with Cleveland. That is if CJ is still there.......Won't get into the why's I feel this way, but I think it's a strong possibility....

    What say you bud?......

There should be an 'ask del rio' thread so we have somewhere to go for life's mysteries.

My take on the draft is going to dissapoint everyone.

    I really have no opinion.

It is the biggest crap shoot. I have played football with Tony Sutton a guy that was the best RB I have ever seen, he was fast, broke records, was unstoppable and he didn't even get drafted. I have seen guys like Kevin Curtis GET DRAFTED.

I think the draft is the biggest joke, the mocks, the 40's, the wonderlic, the weights...... Especially the 40 times. I have seen Kevin Dyson run a 4.28 and then suck during the combine. It all depends on who is holding the watch and your push off. You are either fast or you are not fast. People who compare a guy that runs a 4.3 with a guy that runs a 4.4 are off their rocker.

Any way Ned, I don't mean to dissapoint but I don't really care who we draft man. After the deed I will look at the guys and see what I think they can do and how they will fit, but before the draft I do not critisize or predict. I will support whatever is done.

We could get Calvin and he could be a bust. For some reason he could fall flat on his face. Maybe he can't pick up the O, maybe he gets hurt early and often.....then I have to sit and read about how Childress isn't using him right, or how the WR coach is horrible, or how we have no vet to train him all because his fans thought he would be great.

I want the coach to go out and get someone who he feels will work hard and produce under his system end of story.
If you promise to be smarter, I will promise to be nicer.

My posts are worth 6 of yours.

I hate people who have only 20 posts or something logging onto PP.O and showing real knowledge.
Doesn't he know that he's supposed to spout off with no facts or punctuation (and wish for Moss to come back)?

I thought that was in the FAQ.....
