watching ray edwards last night it became clear that he may just be the sack leader on our line, with his ability to get off the line and see only single teams all season long (allen and kwill will see all the doubles on passing situations) he could have a monster year, I dunno about the 23 he has his sights set on though

I like how we're on Edwards case for setting his goals high, yet when AD does the same thing he's god.

Not on his case at all I just think it's unrealistic for a man to think he is going to go from 5 sacks to 23 in one year... if he was a seasoned veteran who has had double digit sacks seasons in the past then maybe his comments are not fair game for criticism, I would love for him to do it, and actually expect him to have 16 sacks or so to lead the line because he will see not a single double team all year with all the other talent around him on the line...

Edwards also wan't a full time starter last year.
Obviously, there's very few here who think that he can do it, but no reason whatsoever that you shouldn't aim for the top?

If he says "i'd like to get double digit sacks"
then gets 10, what does he do from then?
He reached his goal, does that mean he should just relax the rest of the season?

If Ray gets half of his predicted 23 sacks, that would be a standout year, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him push to 20 sacks, with Allen getting another 20+. Not many QB's are gonna want to step up in the pocket to get munched by Pat and Kevin, so it's going to be alot of fun watching this front four tearing it up.

Both authors missed the best play.
That was a work of art how JA went from full rush mode and then dropped into pass coverage on the screen.

Simply amazing.

Great effort by all 4 though and I don't think we've seen the best yet.

YEah that was my favorite play of the game. when i saw him do that I was telling my family what he was doing and how that was so good of him to do etc... they looked at me like I was crazy.
