Yeah there is no way that the Bengals trade him. He is the face of that franchise and sells the tickets.

Amen! Great post Caine. I have always been a Johnson supporter, I think the Bengals just don't show him much respect and I honestly don't blame Johnson for some of his stuff. Obviously I don't agree with everything, but I can see where he is coming from. While the media is doing it's level best to paint Chad Johnson as a team-killing cancer ridden problem child, I have to wonder exactly WHY they are doing so.
What Chad does is perform.
Day in, day out, Chad Performs.
Sure, he celebrates...sometimes excessively, sometimes inappropriately...but what else does he do wrong?
He doesn't get arrested.
His "posse" doesn't shoot bouncers.
He doesn't parade his dirty laundry in front of the media.
He doesn't posture.
He simply performs.
And Cincy - with the assistance of the media - is acting like he's the problem.
SEND HIM HERE!!!
We'll give you our 2nd rounder this year, you give us Chad, and we'll "struggle" to cope with the TD celebrations.

He will not be welcomed nearly as warmly this year.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

I love that Lewis told him to be a man and just shut up and sit out for the season.
I actually use to like C. Johnson some what but after this whining, crying, complaining, he's nothing short of an annoying ass who I don't care to see or hear from anymore.

No, thanks.
He's 30 years old, he's a "me" player, and I don't think he'd be too wild about the WCO.When there's weather to report, I report the weather.

Re: Dear Cincinnatti, We'll take Chad Johnson....
I haven't heard anything about it being about money. Money/ contract has never come up. He mentions that Marvin wanted him to stop celebrating. He tried that last year and he lost the passion for the game. He said that not being himself on the field sucks the love of the game away from him. He wants to move on because the Bengals are not going to allow him to play like he wants to play( meaning after he scores). I guess football has a lot of different fans but I love celebrations as long as they are clever. I don't understand why the league is trying to clamp down on celebrating. It's like asking NBA players not to snarl after throwing down on someone.
I laughed at the
Cellphone celebration -
Hall of fame jacket -
Sharpie -
Golfing with the pylon -
Marriage proposal -
but the best in the last two years had to be the T.O. - spygate camera behind the goal post.
This is a game/sport and I don't understand why everyone hates this guy. He plays hard every Sunday and has lead the league in yards and 1st down completions in the past 5 years. I guess I'm too new school and a stick hasn't been inserted up my butt just yet.

Ocho is a Talented, receiver is tired of the Bengals Organization not making any serious moves.
Can You blame him? Cincy all Offense and barely any Defense. They should trade him but I don't see him in purple and gold at all if it happends I will be surprised.IN THE PITS ON THE RIVER BEDS EVRY VIKING FAN WILL RISE & VAHALLA SHALL REJOICE WITH THE MOST GLORIOUS PRIZE LOMBARDI'S TROPHY
