Re: Darrel Jackson released
He a very good Wr when healthy!
Is he healthy? ???
Re: Darrel Jackson released
One of the guys who madea comment made an interesting question-
Quote:
I wonder what this does to the Vikings recent renegotiations with Robert Furguson?
I do wonder if it affects those talks...if Ferguson signs this pickup probably won't happen, but he might be a decent pickup...he seems to be injury prone though...so i don't know.
Re: Darrel Jackson released
Personally, I'd rather have Ferguson or a draft pick in that roster spot.
This guy has found a way to under perform expectations for years in a row.
He's been injured a ton, and was such a problem for SEA that they traded him to a division rival, just to get something.
No Thanks.
Re: Darrel Jackson released
I think an addition of Darrell Jackson might help resurrect his career. Plus it wouldn't hurt to have D Jack - Berrian and Rice- and Rob Ferg
Re: Darrel Jackson released
If I remember right he is originally from the TB area so my guess is that he would end up there. It would be another nice Pick up for them

What about Wade and Allison? No way Wade gets the axe when he had the best numbers of any WR on our team last season.. They have a lot faith in Allison, and I believe they signed Hicks in order to associate Allison into the offense more.. Unless we don't sign Ferguson back, I see no way that the Vikings go for Jackson.. Thats just me though..
Re: Darrel Jackson released
The man's only one year removed from 956 Yards and 10 TD's in Seattle.. and that was in 13 games only.
Maybe San Francisco was just a bad fit, and he's had 2 1000 yard seasons.. none of our other wr's can say that.
Have him and Ferguson fight it out for a roster spot, we can't really lose.

You forget on this board Wade is the greatest WR ever. Even though he would be a 3rd stringer on plenty of other teams.
::) What wade has never broken a G??? What Wade had 5 career TDs? What?
He's really not that good? Sorry, I can't hear you, my purple shades come with ear muffs.
Re: Darrel Jackson released
id get him put him and rice as 1st or 2nd and berrian
as 3rd
