Just saw this little note at the bottom of the childress-culpepper meeting article on viking update... this better be BS :evil:

* Rumors continue to persist in Oakland that the Raiders are going to try to package a trade to get Culpepper, but there has been no word on the Vikings end that such a trade proposal will be made or even seriously considered if it is made.

danny clark, robert gallery, lamont jordan, derrick burgess... just to name a few players that would fill needs on our team... and their first rounder again i suppose

A high round draft pick. But, I still don't think this trade will happen (unless Culpepper truly wants out of MN).

We wanted to get randy moss off our team, thats what. We also needed help at the LB position and thought that Napo would fill that. We were really, really wrong.

Pep to Oakland? I told myself that I would avoid the rumors at all cost this offseason....looks like I failed. Oakland would have a lot to gain....and us a lot to lose.

i dont think we would do this "trade". all we would really want is their pick. then wat else would we want from them? some old guy? lol
