NFL draft countdown has us taking Croyle in the 3rd.

I don't know too much about some of the 2nd tier QBs, but this guy doesn't seem to be a pro caliber QB
    I agree with you.

I would rather have Leinart, Cutler or Whitehurst, they are all stay in the pocket passers and have big arms.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

I would consider him and Whitehurst as 3rd or 4th round options...McNeal as a later round option. The rest will either be gone when we pick...or they aren't worth picking as early as another team will probably take them.
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

uhhh, whoever is telling you that has been feeding you a line. Sorry.

    TFY DRAFT ANALYSIS

Bio: Three-year starter who totaled 59.6%/2,499/14/4 as a senior. Played in three games as a junior before tearing a ligament in his right knee. Moved into the starting lineup as a sophomore and passed for 2,303 yards.

Pos: Solid intermediate passer with a terrific sense of timing. Stands strong in the pocket, buys time for receivers and displays excellent awareness. Displays good speed on short and intermediate passes. Looks off covered receivers, does not make poor decisions and is always in control of the offense.

[/b]Neg: Has a long throwing motion that slows his release. Cannot drive passes down field and is rarely on the mark with long throws. Durability is an issue.

Analysis: A quarterback with outstanding intangibles and a player who led Alabama to several game-winning drives last season, Croyle lacks top upside but could be a very effective second quarterback at the next level.

I would not mind Croyle if it was in the third round. Unless we move up in the draft who else are we going to get. I think he is a good choice that late in the rounds.
Nothing is garunteed anyway. Look at HArrinton (number 3) versus Bady (6th round). Never know who will be a bust and who will be great.
    We can solve poverty today.
