    Re: Couple of Trade Rumors

what a joke, sounds like they are trying to rip us off big time. and they want to wait til next year to give up their first pick? thats because they know they would do better with pepper when he healed and that could give them a few more wins next year then drop 5 or more spots in next years draft and the value drops way down for us. no deal loosers.

this is the only one that sounds at all decent depending on what picks we got, but still stupid.

2nd team: Baltimore:Huge trade: We send Pepp, Smoot, and Burleson for Boller, McCallister, & draft picks this year and next.

i can't picture us getting rid of good players for one average one, and one good cornerback. and why would they wanna give mccallister up for smoot? are they seeing something we arn't?
but still this rumor is bull crap.

    Re: Couple of Trade Rumors

I would trade McCallister for Smoot in a heartbeat, Boeller has issues, I would much rather see Pep if anything as our backup until he atleast gets healthy. Can't speculate this early, Oakland don't stand a chance of gettin Pep if that is all they are willing to do. I don't agree that pep is past his prime, he had an injury for one, and the bad play he did have before that, come on, he lost Moss, Linehan, Birk, and was never able to sit in the pocket, any QB would have sucked in that position.. PEP is still the man, wait and see, if he has a good guy calling the plays, if the line would keep opposin D's off his ass, and we bring back K-Rob, I got 3 words for ya M.V.P.

Johnson steped right into Culpeppers shoes one week later.Same line, same coaches, same everything and went 7-2.Blame everyone you want to,but BJ got the job done with the same team Culpepper could not.

Let's trade DC to Oakland for Randy Moss & their #1 pick.

    Re: Couple of Trade Rumors

I would be happy trading Culpepper to Houston for their 1st pick. Then we would have a shot at Reggie Bush & Vince Young. Both would be very good picks for us but I think I would go with Young because we would still have our 17th for a RB or LB/SS. Young will take 2 years or so to get to be a MVP QB.
