Patriots | Team faces a decision with Dillon

John Tomase, of the Boston Herald, reports New England Patriots RB Corey Dillon signed a five-year, $25 million extension last spring and could be due $6 million next year, which makes him a potential victim of cost cutting.

Re: Corey Dillon to hit the market?
I would cut him if I were the Pats also. And hopefully Vikings don't pick him up!

Thanks for the Sig LitlHarsh

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Dillon either. The Vikes are better off with the cast of characters they have right now at the RB position.

Re: Corey Dillon to hit the market?
Not really....he's been a step too slow this year and his APC has been one of the worst. He did suffer some injuries this year but Dillion nees to drop some weight so he can outrun LB's or something....I'm just not a big fan of him.

Thanks for the Sig LitlHarsh

Re: Corey Dillon to hit the market?
Yeah, I hope to god that we dont pick up dillon. Hes been shown hes injury prone this year, and we definetly dont need him on this team!
I think they'll try to rework his contract and if he doesnt want to, hes gone!

Re: Corey Dillon to hit the market?
They will look at drafting a RB im pretty sure and cut Dillon..
Thier back up can carry the load if needed.. I can't remember his name! But he is pretty decent.. Patrick Pass isn't too shabby either

I hope the Vikes take a pass on him if he does become available.

Re: Corey Dillon to hit the market?
No thanks. He is good, but I just have an odd feeling about him.
If we are not good he'll start to cry to the media.
