    Re: Clayton and Pasquarelli Mock

I would be pleased with any of those players.
Williams hasn't been mentioned much here but would be someone who may be able to contribute this year as the season rolls on.
I don't think Cutler will fall to 17 although I think Kiper had him at pick 20.
If the Vikings really want him I don't think they will be able to hold their powder until pick 17.

I don't care who they pick as long as it is someone with a better than average prospect of developing into a pro bowler.
What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. Its the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

the more I see Sims highlights the more I like him, but on the NFL network I heard he has had 5 concussions in 2 years, if he is off the board before the Vikes pick it might be a mixed blessing. He plays like a beast but one wrong blow he might be out like a candle.
Didn't we have the same problems with Raonall Smith, Mike Nattiel and Rod Davis??? NO thanks...I would rather have Greenway...we need an LB that can cover TEs.

But most importantly, if DeAngelo is still on the board, we gotta grab him...Childress KNOWS this!!!

No. 17 VIKINGS: They need a linebacker, they need a corner. JIMMY WILLIAMS, CB, VIRGINIA TECH, has a lot of talent but a reputation of being hard to handle. "Brain farts," is the way one coach described it. I asked my Vikings man if they had a cure for that. Yeah, he said, their new defensive coordinator Mike Tomlin, who knows Williams and feels that he can get along with him just fine (Dr Z)

17 LB Chad Greenway Iowa Sr. 6-4 244
If Jay Cutler should linger past No. 11, expect the Vikings to at least try to put together a trade that's designed to move up and land him. But if the Vikings stay put, give them Greenway, who's a solid, dependable linebacker and would fill an obvious need for Minnesota. If the Vikings start the mid-round run on defensive backs, look for them to take Clemson's Tye Hill. (Banks)
man, if we draft a corner in the 1st round I will be SOOOOOOOOOO pissed

simply another opinion pasquarelli and clayton are just trying to get people thinking..they really have absolutely no idea on earth who we might draft
People who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.

Cutler seems like a good prospect, but there is no way he falls all the way to our pick, and if he does, we can all get drunk cause' we'll have the new SOD!

Is it just me, or is this one of the most interesting drafts in years? I guess it could just be the hype machine....
