But bear with me as I will explain it below....

Vikings | Richardson to visit
Tue, 13 Mar 2007 13:34:39 -0800
Sean Jensen, of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, reports the Minnesota Vikings will meet with University of Notre Dame DB Mike Richardson and have him workout for the team.
************************************************** ***************
It doesn't seem like DB is a high priority for Draft Day One, unless this is someone they will consider in later rounds.
And most teams do not work out Day Two guys unless they need several such players and may take one on Day One and Day Two.
But my theory in posting this in the Quin thread is as follows...
Perhaps the Vikings will try to obtain some insight into Quinn's ability to throw accurate deep passes, slants, short hitches, etc. from someone who faced him in practice every weekday?
....Just a possibility to ponder, although it may be a stretch.
Fits right in.
This is the kinof stuff we like instead of the steady diatribe of crap that seems to be prevalent over the last two days.
Heck you even type with Capital letters, punctuation and in paragraphs.

Re: Chilldress coments on Quinns workout
I looked at the ESPN, Notre Dame page; msg board, roster and game summaries for Richardson (DB).
Other than going through the play-by-play, or perhaps looking at older messages, he is 'invisible'.
I saw no INTs returned for TDs, no punt return stats, no kick return stats.
Let's hope he is a shutdown corner and that opposing teams didn't throw the ball to his side of the field, or that Childress is looking into him at his 'informal pro day' in order to gain insight into Quinn, who he faced in every practice.
I certainly hope Childress isn't thinking about drafting Richardson and converting him into a WR, as a reversal of what Denny did with Robert Tate, WR ---> CB.
Nephie; why do you want to know about underwear changing?
Do you need someone to do that for you?!
LOL!
Sorry, but I am not in that type of work.
LOL!
Due to the absence of a ROFLMAO smilie, I offer this as a substitute:

ND's secondary has been horrendous for the past 2 or 3 seasons.
=Z=
(Also a closet ND fan - lived for a few years a half-hour away from South Bend)

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

How?
What has he done?
I saw no INTs returned for TDs on the game lists.
ESPN doesn't list defensive stats, so please enlighten us as to how he is good.
And, is he versatile enought to play CB and Free Safety?
Or, could he be a hybrid SS/MLB ?
Zeus points out that ND had a lousy defensive backfield, thus shootouts in several of their games against nationally ranked teams.
Did he shutdown his area of responsibility ( i.e. side of field, as CB, ...or deep zone as a safety ) ?
When we stop to think about it, most folks behavior isn't perplexing after all !
