Thankfully it is a minor injury.
Why the hell did he need a cart then? What a weeney.
It's a long damn way from the fields to the dorms/training rooms at Mankato.
It's 90 frigging degrees out there and the humidity is high.
The Vikings are paying him millions of dollars to perform.
I would be madder if he "toughed it out" and drained himself rather than taking it easy when he can.
What are you talking about? From what I have heard they were in the air conditioned building when it happened. Even if they are out side is it really unreasonable to walk to the medics. I don't think a professional athlete is going to "drain himself" walking a couple hundred yards no matter how hot it is.
I think, given the Vikings history, that they don't take any chances with the heat.

Chester Taylor left Blakeslee Stadium on a cart this morning because of a right forearm contusion. Taylor, who rushed for more than 1,000 yards last season, was hit after catching a pass and, after a short period of time, appeared to be in a lot of pain.
The press is saying it was Blakeslee stadium but I think they may be using that as a generic term for all the football fields as the PP.O reporter said it was before they went to the stadium.

Blakeslee Stadium?
Far from air conditioned.
The only refuge from the heat is Phat Pat's belly shade.

Maybe he will start wining like Hines Ward.
Jul 29 Ed Bouchette, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports Pittsburgh Steelers WR Hines Ward is upset that some of the defensive players are throwing out big hits and the coaches are not doing anything. "You do it one time, OK, but you don't keep letting it happen and happen. And if the coaches aren't going to say something about it, then, [heck], maybe a player has to say something about it. We're on the same team. We're not the opponent," Ward said.
Now that's what I call a Weeney.

IMO what's worse about this is the stuff about TJ throwing all the interceptions and having trouble with snaps.

Nah, what's worse is someone posting stuff about Tjack in a thread about CT and him getting injured.

There is discussion about TJ HERE

I'm sure he's just being cautious after seeing Favre carted of the field with a sprained/broken thumb.

Phew.

I got to the restaurant/bar tonight with some business associates about 6:30 and saw childress on Sports Center being interviewed with a tag line of "Chester Taylor Hurt at training camp" on the screen, but I couldnt hear a thing in the bar.
I was crying in my beer all night until I just got back to my hotel room, and ran straight to PPO.

Man am I relieved!!!!!!!!!!!!
I barely enjoyed my She Crab Soup and Low Country Boil tonight.
OK that was a little bit of an overstatement.

As a side note I did meet and have a beer with the guy from "Flip this House" on TLC in the bar tonight.
Good guy!

Good to hear it is only minor. I have been away from the internet most of the day after it was announced that he got hurt and was taken off the feild on a cart.
Seems weird to bring out the cart for a minor injury.

Arm injury to Taylor not viewed as serious

MANKATO - The Vikings were relieved to learn Tuesday that what looked to be a potentially serious injury to running back Chester Taylor's right arm was only a bruise that likely will keep him out for a couple of days....
