CHESTER CARTED OFF WITH INJURY

Vikings running back Chester Taylor suffered an injury on Tuesday to his right shoulder or arm, and was taken from the practice field on a cart.

Per Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Taylor was hit after catching a pass, and appeared to be in significant pain.

If Taylor misses any significant time, it opens the door for rookie Adrian Peterson, whose 2006 season at Oklahoma was marred by a broken collarbone.

Shoulder dislocations are not minor. They often result in a torn labrum which causes joint instability and susequent subluxations or dislocations.Labrum repair means healing time and rehab. Same thing with rotator cuff tear or humerus fracture. Clavicle fracture is about 8 weeks but usually no surgery.
Let's hope it is none of the above.
However severe pain and taken off on a cart does not sound minor.

At least it's at the start of training camp and occured to a position we are deepest at.
What if one of our DL got hurt.
I'd really be worried.
The only postive is Chester wont run out of gas this year.
