    Chester Taylor.

OK, I brought this up in the Toby thread but I think it is something that the FO should strongly consider.

More than likely with the addition of Barber to the Bears roster there is no room for Taylor on the team and he clearly doesn't seem to be a good fit for martz so the possibility he is released seems to be pretty good.

If that happens IMHO it would be in the teams best interest to bring him back into the fold. If you look at McChunky and his time in Philly, his best option was always Westbrook and Taylor has the same types of skills as Westbrook had where he can offer pass protection, catch the screen, and do a better job taking over for Peterson than Toby can.

How can you be against bringing up a "washed up" QB but not against bringing in an even less productive, more washed up RB?

Trust me when I tell you this, if he had anything left, the Bores would have kept him.

I, for one, am glad they opted to resign him for the cash instead of us.

Besides, if you want to add a RB, there is a glut of a market out there of guys who are alot better than CT is/was just waiting for someone to give them a deal.

I'm happy with Lorenzo as our 3rd down back. He not only knows how to pass protect and can catch it out of the backfield, he gives us another returner and that is something CT doesn't bring to the table.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

I wouldn't be against seeing Webb returning kickoffs. I understand what Frazier is doing but once Ponder gets the backup QB position (and he will) it just seems like a waste to see someone so gifted of an athlete rotting on the bench. Webb to me has the talent to be a player in the mold of Antwaan Randle El.

Put it this way. I only brought it up because we did bring in the old and busted QB. If we had not gotten McChunky I would not have suggested getting Taylor but this might be one guy who can make him look good and keep him alive.

It was a fair question though.

So I suppose Greg Olsen had nothing left in the tank yet? No, my good friend, Martz will jettison guys if they don't fit what he is looking for.

If you are happy with Ryan Cook, were satisfied with Madieu Williams and like McChunky then it stands to reason that you would also be fine with Booker and finishing last in the division. I tend to want something different.
