I'm glad to see him go, but I thought he was pretty decent. I think we can upgrade though!

You have to realize that its not like madden where u offer a contract and its accepted, it takes time fro most free agents to decide.I hate to see that! I hope we start spending some of our money, like soon.
He was decent, but Chavous never really made much of a difference in our defense, and when he was out of the lineup, nobody really noticed. It should be too hard to replace him.
I m like a Ja Rule poster, cause I'm off the wall.

I'm 50/50 on it.. Chavous was awesome.. Cool guy and a good leader.. He was pretty solid too..
But now we are gonna replace him with Will Demps maybe? Not really a good trade off there

Re: Chavous a Ram
I think it was Happy Camper that said something about Claiborne. I agree. Wasn't he cut again this year? Chavous, IMO, won't be hard to replace with younger talent. He is a good tackler and that's about it. He doesn't cover very well as a Safety. He'll be the same with a crappy Ram defense. Make some plays here and there. I wish him well and look forward to K-Rob burning him

Re: Chavous a Ram
I agree with you Vikingstw... I am glad he is gone! Not that he is a bad guy... but we need to bring a saftey that is younger and can learn from all the Veterans in our seconday! I think we can do a lot better than him at the postition, I think Offord could have beat him out last year... and probablly would have this year anyway! Good luck as a Ram Chavous... But I wont really miss ya...
