I do not want a WR in the first round, we have so many holes that are more dire than that.

    Thanks PurpleMafia

Please guys... Just one thing I would like. I am a huge NC state fan and I have been watching Manny Lawson play for 4 years... He is NOT what we need. Don't get me wrong, he is going to make a great 3-4 pass rushing linebacker somewhere, maybe a good defensive end but he will not be a good LB in the 4-3. He would have to be a pass rushing specialist being a converted Defensive End. He is best suited for the 3-4.

That being said.. No I don't want chad jackson.

The only way I want him on this team is if we can get him in the second. Now I'm not saying hes not good or not first round quality, but we have bigger needs to address. The guys a stud, he had some very good years a UF. Watch out next year for Dallas Baker...Stud.Anyways IMO hes the best WR in the draft, hes got the T-Hoe Size and strength minus the bad attitude.

Theres NOTHING greater then a Florida Gator!

    Donte Whitner SS Ohio State

Most people wer shocked when he decided to turn pro. I did not seem like he was really good enough yet.

I would not mind having Whitner on the Vikes at all!

I bet the broncos will get him at 15 they need a reciver, I think Chad Greenway will be our man if we do not move up. He is a stud a Iowa farm boy who walked on at Iowa as a Tight end.

I hate to say but its a good move picking up another third round pick. All the "Experts" are predicting a good year for middle round picks.
I have heard that as well. Apparently the draft is going to be really deep in talent. Getting this pick will benefit us because we have areas that are in need of more help other than WR. I would gladly take a LB or a CB who has the potential to play for Burleson

    Re: Chad Jackson

The idea of us taking a WR in the first round is R-E-T-A-R-D-E-D. And to the person who had the comment about us not having any "quality" recievers:

If you are looking for Randy Moss, he's in Oakland. Otherwise, recievers take years to develop. We have as talented a corp of recievers as you get in the NFL. We have 3 first round recievers on our team so if you think we don't have enough talent then the draft surely isn't your answer. We should've gone after a proven commodity in FA. But we don't need it. Will we ever be ABSOLUTELY SET at any position, no. But our recievers are closer to being complete than any other position on our team. Any position. Once again, drafting a WR in the first couple rounds = retarded.
