He will be good for what we drafted him for, and that is nickel back.. I say give him a couple of years, and he will be good enough to start..

Exactly, He will play nickle and play it well. Get some experience and he should be a starter in a few years, Probably at saftey. Of course this is all optimistic  .

I like his intensity and aggressiveness, but that youtube compilation worries me a bit.

On about half of those hits, he is flying at people head first and spearing them. Makes for a huge hit but poses injury risks to his neck and upper back, as well as makes him a big-time magnet for helmet-to-helmet penalties/fines. I hope the coaches spend some time working on his unorthodox hitting style; there were a couple plays there where he was airborne, helmet-first, and didn't even try to use his arms to wrap the receiver. Bad form, high reward but also very high risk.

How much you guys wanna bet this kid is gonna get caught up in some fights with WR's on the field within the next 2 seasons?

I see why we drafted him now. He isn't afraid to put a hard hit on anyone and looks like he plays under control too. Actually looks like a SAFETY. Hmmm.

I really like this guy for us. We lost Brian Williams and got very thin at the postion. I think Griffen for the job hes going to do right away (more then likley a nickle back) , hes gonna excell at it. Hes a PHYSICAL CB. I capitolize that word for many reasons. Hes just a flat out a player. I like his all around toughness.

Theres NOTHING greater then a Florida Gator!
