    CB Benny Sapp Visiting today

    http://ww3.startribune.com/vikingsblog/?p=1472

Free agent CB Benny Sapp, who spent the past four seasons with Kansas City, is visiting Winter Park today.

Looks lie the quest to get more depth is happening.

Possibly. I have heard of him but that is about it. My guess is that the best he coud do would be our #4 CB?

At this point we need guys with experience brought in.Most of our CBs are young, too young.Bringing in an extra body to bang around with these guys is a good idea.

Theres NOTHING greater then a Florida Gator!

In practice though right, not to take a eventual roster spot?

Young or not, all 3 of our young guys put up better stats in one year than this guy has his whole career.

    i agree ~

    Winfield
    Griffin
    McCauley
    Gordon/Sapp

Whitaker showed flashes of potential in NFL Europe, never translated to the actual NFL, let him go!

Should be interesting. Let them battle it out in camp. I wonder if they also look at drafting someone as well. Pretty much 6 CB that are all capable of playing in some capacity in the NFL , not sure if a later round pick would be able to come in and beat anyone out.
