INDIANAPOLIS — Rick Spielman didn’t go into much detail when asked about the right tackle position today at the NFL Scouting Combine but the Vikings vice president of player personnel did say: “As we went through our evaluations, there is not a position — I don’t think — that we would not look at to try to get better.â€

Re: Carey an option?
Here's a look at his profile on the Dolphin's website. Can't find any stats about sacks allowed.

First-round draft choice of the Dolphins in 2004 (19th overall) ... Was the third offensive lineman selected, behind only Iowa T Robert Gallery (2nd, Oakland) and Arkansas T Shawn Andrews (16th, Philadelphia).Any man who afflicts the human race with ideas must be prepared to see them misunderstood. - H.L. BREAKING NEWS: Dolphins re-sign Vernon Carey
The Palm Beach Post is reporting that the Dolphins have indeed signed Vernon Carey to a multi-year contract.
And this is according to "two NFL sources" at the scouting combine.
The Sun-Sentinel is reporting that the deal is for 5 years.
Still no word on the money.
More details to follow...

Re: Carey an option?
This is awful.
First, a report comes out that the Vikes were ready to sign Gross to a contract once FA starts, he's resigned.
Now what I believe to be the second best option... resigned.
In comes my third option... Willie Colon.
