There was good news for the Browns Friday morning as they won the coin toss with Tampa Bay and will pick third overall in April's NFL Draft.

The teams gathered at 7:45 a.m. to toss the coin. Tampa Bay's representative called heads, and the coin came up tails.

They will probably fire him over that toss.... ;D

Boy I just can't see Oakland taking a pass on Russell, maybe a move down to 3rd?? There are just so many busts with top ten WR's. I won't even think of bringing up "hands" Troy. CJ will excel I am sure, but Russell is going to make a monster of a QB.

It will be a top notch draft day.

I still think I'll call it:

1. Oakland - Russell
2. Detroit - Thomas
3. Cleveland - Still interesting

Russell seams more like an Al Davis pick. And even if they bring in a veteran QB they could choose him to develop him as no. 2 on the depth chart with a possibility of coming in later in the season.

And with Leftwich's injury history, if he's the man in Oakland, having a legit #2 is not a bad idea.
But Andrew Walter (who started a bunch for the Raiders in 06) could be that #2 behind Leftwich.

Al Davis likes the big play, so CJ fits right in there, if he can get the QB to toss it.

The Browns will take Quinn if he slips. He is from Ohio and his eyes light up like a kid at Christmas when someone mentions the Browns around him.

I also believe Matt Millen will Pick CJ just to stick his middle finger up at the world as his final act as GM.

Well, it could happen. But even if I wouldn't be surprised to see it, I still put my money on Russell at this very early state.

Also I don't believe the trade.

Looks like we will have to deal with Tampa at #4 if we really want a shot at Calvin Johnson!
