They will want too much.. Won't be worth it

Don't look at the touchdowns and all that

He is actually a very mediocore QB

I couldn't agree more. I mean, Derek Anderson is a solid QB and played very well this season. But, he's only had one good season and the asking price would be too much.

Not to mention, he wouldn't work out for us because he wouldn't be throwing to playmakers like Kellen Winslow Jr. and Braylon Edwards. He'd be throwing to scrubs like Troy Williamson and Bobby Wade.

For sure man.. He is an average QB and I don't think he would do all that much better then Tarvaris did for us

I know he is better.. But I wouldn't part with even a 3rd rounder for him concidering I figure he is going to ask for a huge contract

Also agreed. Braylon, Jurevicious and K2 are all better better receivers than anyone we have. And I'm sure their o-line did much better than ours pass protecting all season.

Now if he's on the market for a long time and we could get him for a 3rd it might be worth it even if he ends up as a backup to TJ at some point.

Offers mean alot of things not just draft picks. So you wouldn't consider him if we could say trade players that we would get rid of anyways like Williamson, Smith Ect and maybe a mid round pick for him? Not that it would happen but I think most woud say yes to it. Clevland maybe a good palce for a player like Williamson no real pressure and a chanc eto start over.
Again more than likely not going to happen but if we could get rid of some of those type of players for anyone that could contribute to the team why not?

If im not mistaken Williamson is a FA.. We can't trade him

They won't want Smith or a bunch of outcasts

They can screw someone over and get some way better players/picks then we would offer

Didnt Williamson sign a four year deal?
Which means he is under contract for one more season.
To bad he will get cut before he can playout his final season under contract.

I am actually surprised that he hasnt been cut yet.
I would of sent him packing at halftime of the Broncos game.

More of an example but of a type of player, Or at least players that may be totally fine players but may be better on another team or a bubble player for us heading into next season like Jimmy K, Hicks, ect.

I personally wouldn't like to see Anderson as a Viking.
If we actually went out and got a QB i'd like a vet like Mcnabb now another young guy like Anderson.
It would be nice to have a QB who could win now and let a young guy sit on the bench for a couple years.
