I'm not really sure if that really revealed our hand all that much. It's pretty much common practice that if you can't trade a guy then you cut him. Just look at TO.

I think it was a good idea to turn down the guaranteed 2 million in San Diego, but 10 mil a year? Good gosh...who does he think he is?!

true enough, the more i think about it, the media kind of lead everyone to believe that as well..daunte also did demand that his contract be terminated if he is not traded..so i guess teams knew this either way..just a shame we didnt deal him when we were getting good offers about a month ago..mcallister and the ravens 1st rounder look real nice now for smoot and pep..management better be kicking themselves over not taking adrian wilson from arizona in their proposed deal

10 million per year?!?!!?!?!?!? That's INSANE!!!!! Heck, I'll play QB for anyone for only 1 million per year...except the Packers...I'd charge them 3 million.
