    Bowe and Meachem

OK, watching the combine, and both Bowe and Meachem did very well in the drills I was able to see.
I think both of them may have risen above Jarrett, who didn't work out...

My Ranking for WR right now is:

    CJ
    Bowe
    Ginn
    Meachem
    Jarrett

Anybody else get this feeling too?

What about Jason Hill running a 4.3 and had a sick vertical.. I don't think he dropped any ball either.

    I still don't know.
Jarret could still lockup the second spot if he can run a sub 4.5 40.
He's not the physical guy like Bowe but his route running and hands are close to being the best of the group.
Really it is hard to tell until Ginn and Jarret both have their pro day.

Meachem has really helped his stock though and Hall has continued to look solid as well.

For me, right now, it is:

    CJ
    Jarrett
    Meachem
    Ginn
    Bowe

I really like Meachem, too bad he is having such good workouts, we could have stolen him in the second round.
When it s all said and done, you ll have to admit we re number 1!

Jarret's not running. Its his weak spot. I dont like Jarret and laugh at the fact that most mock draft s have him or ginn being taken by us at number 7.

They're both reaches and I Childress already said hes not going to reach. Plus people have them projected 15-20 pick like Tennessee or someone. We have more options especially since the blue chip players drop off AFTER US. They're after
the cliff so why would we pass a blue chip player up.There are too many recievers like them that we can get in the second round. Craig Davis is a good one, steve smith
and ones like him. I think we could even get Meachem in the second round. I highly doubt we're going to take either of them but you're right IF we do take one of them I won't be laughing.

    Re: Bowe and Meachem

The question is if Jarret's 40 time does stink and he drops down to our 2nd pick do you pass on him?
Even if Jarret runs a bad 40 I still believe he is going to be a great possession receiver.

CJ, Ginn, and Bowe are first round locks in my opinion.
Meachem helped his chances and possibly worked his way into the first.
I don't think Sydney Rice looked that great today.

Either way you look at it players moving up is always a good thing because it is pushing some good talent down.

Weather has been bad all weekend so no fishing.
Been glued to the NFL network between chores.

Maybe because he didn't work out or his size, I still put Ginn at the bottom.
Regardless, all will go in the first round. My opinion of course
    ;D

When evaluating the wide receivers I try to see who is going to available to us in the second round.
If CJ were available at 7 he would be ours. But it's not going to happen.
I think we take the best athlete at 7 and WR in round 2.
I think Ginn,Bowe, and Jarrett go mid to late first round.
I can only pray that Meachem is there for us in the second round.
He's not only fast, he is quick. He's coordinated, atheletic and can catch.
Gonzalez isn't as good as Meachem in my opinion but may be the guy that's available to us in round 2.

I will post the names of the guys I think you can't pass up at number 7 in your other thread when the combine is over. I will name one as a tease since he is one few people are likely to agree with. Kalil!
