Bly?

Think he would be a good fix at CB?
Maybe compete with Charles Gordon for the other CB Position?
Your thoughts...

Re: Bly?
I think Bly would be a CB for us, but he is getting up there in age.

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

Re: Bly?
Well, we all wanted him when was up for free agency and then laughed at the Lions for "overpaying him."
The only real differences now is that he is older.
So, if we inherit that contract, I suppose we were laughing at ourselves.
I enjoyed watching him while he was with the Lions, so I wouldn't complain about him coming here, but maybe his time is behind him.MC's run away when I kick it

Re: Bly?
Bly would be an excellent fit for the team. If we brought him in, and stepped up the pass rush a little, we would have one monsterous D

Re: Bly?
He's being let go because he can't play the cover 2.
Cover corners like Bly and Smoot do not fit in a cover 2 scheme.
Makes no sense to me to bring him in

Re: Bly?
He is decent but forget it the Lions will probaly resign him. I would just use the opportunity to raise the pot for the LIONS.

Actually, I am very surprised that it took that long to get a thread going about getting Dre Bly..

It seems like every player that is a FA, wants a trade, or is cut, someone wants him on our team.. All opinion I guess, its just funny to me..

Agreed.....where does everyone think all this money to sign every free agent is going to come from? Let's be realistic... the best we will get is probably a couple of lower teir free agents, Childress has already said they will build through the draft. Let's not become the Redskins, we all know how well that works out. :
