Good One DEL!I would rather both sides pull their heads out of their asses, realize we pay the bills and give the 4% they are fighting over back to the fans in the form of cheaper tickets and an overall better experience.

Re: Bloody Thursday
Sooooo there could be mass players being relaesed tomarrow? Thats freaking crazy. When will teams know wether or not this is a done deal or not. I'm wondering if this is gonna benifit the vikings or hurt them in the future and what it does to the pay of guys like Edge, alexander and the draft pics, intristing stuff.
And i'm confused on the uncapped 2007 season???

Re: Bloody Thursday
So suppose an agreement is not met and we go to a uncapped year in 2007. Does that mean whoever wins the Super Bowl in 2006 will not be as special as previous years (since most teams cut key players stay under the cap)?
Halo 4. Start another fight.

I can only imagine that if there is no agreement by 4pm tomorrow that the superbowl this season will have an * by it.

I don't think so, thats why teams hire people that handle there money and the contracts, lucky for us we got rob and he's a G. They also have there plan B's and always prepare for something like this. So whoever handles this situation the best will be most sucessful. Whoever has a killer draft and fills those wholes created by the released players will have sucess. So suppose an agreement is not met and we go to a uncapped year in 2007. Once the season gets going there will no talks about money, it will be all about winning and the best team will win.

It is definitely our year to win then, with our luck(history) that is.

When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Depends who wins it ... if its a media darling ala Packers, Cowboys, Steelers then it will be even more special in the media's eyes as they will have had to overcome " immense obstacles "So suppose an agreement is not met and we go to a uncapped year in 2007. If its someone like the Vikes, Seahawks, Bengals etc then it would have been due to the opposition not being of a sufficiently high standard.
Be interesting to see the spin put on this after the 2006 season.
Hey any chance that the pack will cut Brett boy's sorry ass in order to free up some cap room ?? :twisted:Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

Re: Bloody Thursday
nah if he wants to come back they'll let him come back. they're doing pretty well cap wise and they love bretty too much to make him leave. the only way he'll be gone is if he retires
