    Bethel Johnson an Eagle

I just saw this on ESPN

When did we let him go, or why didn't we re-sign him? I actually liked him and was more confident in his abilities than most of our other receivers.

It hasn't been reported on the i-net yet. Just breaking news on SportsCenter.

I liked him. Too bad. It sounds like Bobby Wade is a carbon-copy of him tho, so its a wash.

I didn't realize he was only 5'11" ....only an inch taller than Wade.....

Hopefully Wade can come in and be an asset....

    Re: Bethel Johnson an Eagle

I looked for links on profootballtalk and espn.
    Nothing yet.
ESPN has gotten quite a few rumors wrong this offseason, so I'm not sold yet.

If he leaves I will be a little disappointed.
I think he showed some promise.
But I think Wade will fill in nicely for him, with a little more experience.

Bethel's speed is superior to Wade. It's not even close. But eithe way, both are average WR's and will always be that way.

I personally prefer Bethel because he has such a sick upside (which sadly, maybe never develope).
Because I'm a Vikings fan, they are that much sexier.
