Re: Best and worst offseason moves

I like all of our offseason moves, but I was especially impressed by:

    -the resigning of K. Rob.
    -the acquisition of Hutch
    -picking up Chester Taylor

I'm a little concerned about the Culpecker trade still, but it was obvious that he really wanted out of MN, so our hands were tied. Fran Foley was obviously a mistake too.
    I am a dipshit!!!

you can't blame JWalk for wanting out, i mean look at what team he played for. he can be a very good reciever and imo the broncos were lucky to get him

Coldpeper was not a trade. He just quit the team and we were lucky to get something for him before we had to release him. The only reason we got a second round pick is because the Dolphins didn't want to compete for him as a FA if we released him. It wasn't really a move.

Best Move: Steve Hutchinson, OG, Vikings

Worst Move: Not that the Texans took Mario Williams with the 1st overall pick, bu that they didn't take Reggie Bush.
I agree with Hutch completely, but i think the Texans were looking at their team and saying, "if we get Reggie Bush, how will he help us?" If i was them i would have trade away the pick and got some Lineman, that's their true problem from last year!! Look how many sacks they had on themselves due to lack of skill at Line!!!

Best move 4 us has to be hutch!!

worst move so far 4 us letting nate go, getting a rookie, trading him for a average 4th yr Nfl'r wr. it's not fully in vedict though. lets let 1 yr pass and we'll know this time next year..

I agree. Given what we did with our receivers, I think it would have been a much better idea to keep Nate, thus keeping our 1st through 5th receivers intact for next season. If we are going to commit to the patriots style of having an average receiving corps, we might as well groom a group that works well together, much like you groom an offensive line.

Everyone agrees that Hutch is the best move, so this has realy turned into the "Worst Offseason move Thread" Boooo!

How about we rate the best moves instead?
    Here's mine:

    1. Seahawks - Alexander
    2. Falcons - Abraham
    3. Saints -Brees
    4. Vikings - Hutch
    5.Cardinals - James
