Re: The best 7 round mock draft I've seen yet!
Pretty good, I love the 4th and 6th round selections. Slay is a HARD hitting saftey, and when I say hard I mean Sean Taylor hard. Dont like Whitehurst all that much, but I'm open to any QB we draft becuz I dont know a whole lot about him. Good Draft tho.

Theres NOTHING greater then a Florida Gator!

Re: The best 7 round mock draft I've seen yet!
1.) Sims,
Im still not a fan of this kid yet. In this draft situation I would take a look at trading down to a team looking to move up like pats (*maybe there pick and a 3rd?)and than draft Cromarte. In the cover 2 he could be an utter stud.
1-2nd) I like Joseph in the 2nd, this is the pick i would look at also. Or perhaps package this pick and a later pick to tenn and get Dqwell. Otherwise I think joey will do great
2-2nd) I dont like whitehurst here. I think if we are not able to move up and get dqwell than we need to try hodge here. If we can get dqwell than we move for bing perhaps here
In my lay-out we have 3-3rd rd picks(*including the pats)
I would talk to detroit and move up a spot to get croyle. I like his fit with this team. If not than get Jon Alston, he had a good intervue with us and sounds like a cover-2 type
I dont like calhoun in the 3rd. Blue or smith at safety seem like a better fit
bryd is nice with that second 3rd rd pick
in the 4th I would grab jacobs if we didnt grab croyle yet
I like the 5th rd pick, good wr project. reminds me of cage from chic
6th is a crap shoot. Id almost bring in clemons and let the rookie qb's duke it outwww.prodeji.mychoices.biz

Rev, I agree with most of what you say. If any WR is anything like Justin Gage, I want nothing to do with him but other than that you made a great post.

Re: The best 7 round mock draft I've seen yet!
1st- Good pick. Sims is a no-brainer if he drops to us
2nds- Joseph helps with the line, good pick. Whitehurst is not the best pick IMO but we do need to pick a QB and with what's left I'm not apposed to seeing what he can do for us.
3rd- Not a great pick.. too much depth at RB.. Dont need a TE
4th- If Omar Jacobs is still there in the 4th you have to snatch him up.. I would rather we pick a good linebacker or WR in the 2nd and pick up jacobs in the 4th if he drops to our pick
5th- Perfect pick. No complaints.
6th- YES. Hard hitting safety. Great pick.

Re: The best 7 round mock draft I've seen yet!
there is one reason I don't like this mock...... The Packers would have a killer draft class....
Hawk
Sinorice Moss
Latui
Chris chester
Greg eslinger
Those are their first 5 picks.... that would be a huge draft... I hope they would be too stupid to get that good of players.
Thanks Lotza!

Interesting how Marcus Vick is the last Qb taken - the media sure has been quiet of late

Looks good. I would be really happy if we got Sims, and I like Whitehurst, although I'd be fine with Croyle or Jacobs too.
WE CAN BUILD ON THIS!!!

In AP I trust

i agree with that and they have Maroney, Williams, and white all going after the 25th pick!!! I don't understand why everybody thinks we can get one LB early in the draft and call it a day!!! I would go 1st round (Chad Greenway), 2nd round (Dqwell Jackson or Thomas Howard), Then a QB!!! We just drafted a guard last season, why do we need someone (to take his place or to back up Hutch?!?!)!!!! I think we can hold off until the 3rd or 4th round to get a OT (not a OG)!!! I also wouldn't mind us taking Brode Croyle!!! I don't see why people don't like him?!?!? He is a good QB, and we are drafting a QB to be a backup anyway!!!http://www.myspace.com/pooptin
