Ouch!• The Raiders have gotten rid of Art Shell and Aaron Brooks in a matter of weeks, and at this rate they're the most improved team in the NFL in my book.
Harsh, but true....

Re: Assessing Ginn's speed, Carr's value, Quinn's future
I want Ginn. I've officially decided. People don't give him a fair shake. They compare him to troy williamson just because he's small and fast. the fact of the matter is that he's a playmaker, something we're sorely missing on this team. He's not a primma donna either. Look at what Devin Hester did for the bears last year. Imagine if Devin hester could be a force on OFFENSE too (or defense in hester's case). That's what you have in Ginn. I'm willing to take a shot at having another troy williamson like player if we have a possibilty of ending up with the next steve smith.

LMAO."You can't lose focus on what you're getting prepared for,' said Thomas, the first Badger to win the Outland Trophy, which goes to college football's best lineman. "Running a top end 40 is not really applicable to an offensive lineman. The only time I'm running 40 yards is when a pick goes the other way.'Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

I would bet the performance on that ropes-crossed-on-the-ground drill is more important for O-Linemen.
Want to see how quick they move their feet.

I still believe it would be best to draft Jarrrett over Ginn. Yes speed is a factor in this league but when you have a big receiver that can catch anything thrown his way...something that we need...you can't pass that up. He played at another level his whole collegiate career and he will make an impact in this league. Everyone compares him to Mike Williams like Ginn to Williamson. Only time will tell.

Ginn on the Vikings? Sure why not.
Us drafting him at 7, god no.
Hes too raw to take a 7.His routes and hands are questionable.Yes hes a play maker, but with the way our team is...we need to fill some holes.Jarrett, Bowe, and Meacham are all better WRs.I'm all for drafting DJ, his hands are above average.
If we could trade down i'd consider Ginn.
Theres NOTHING greater then a Florida Gator!

ONE thing in Ginn's favor...IF he shows that he CAN'T catch, the team picking him could just switch him to DEFENSE...since we all know that DBs are just WRs that can't catch!I want Ginn.
