Nobody is going full speed, everybody is still sore from the season.
Plus DA came in late in the game.
His INT to Sharper was the third hail mary in a row, so play calling isn't exactly normal.

If the front office sees fit to make a run at DA, so be it.
    If they don't, OK.
I don't think his performance or lack thereof in the pro bowl will have anything to do with the decision either way.
Right! His performance could have been much worse if they allowed blitzing.

    Re: Anyone Still Want Anderson?

I would rather have Brady Quinn than Derek Anderson.
To be honest, I would gladly give up our 2nd round pick this year for Brady in return.
I can't believe Quinn was picked so late last year, since I think he's a better quarterback than JaMarcus Russell.
In the beginning, I think Quinn was a little overrated, but then he became underrated before the draft.
That's why he got picked so late.
I would maybe give up a 3rd round pick for Anderson cause I think he was a little lucky this season. Well, I could be wrong, we'll see...

The way I see it, if Eli can beat Romo, Favre, and Brady on the road in the playoffs it is totally possible for Tarvaris Jackson to develop into a QB that is NFL caliber if given a chance.
Eli came from a division I school too and it took him a while to arrive.
    Screw Anderson.

Derek Anderson, QB, Cleveland -- Anderson had nine games this past season with a passer rating of less than 80 and topped that mark only once in the final five games of the season. His 19 interceptions tied for fourth most in the NFL. His 82.5 season-long passer rating was lower than the passer ratings of Jay Cutler, Matt Schaub, Chad Pennington and Sage Rosenfels. Leading the Browns to 10 wins was impressive, but the sum of Anderson's accomplishment s should not have equaled a trip to Honolulu.
