The same could be said for Romo.
He looked like garbage out there.

    i agree.
Romo looked awful, but it all comes down to being unfamiliar with the recievers.
Peyton was so comfortable because a) he's so good he doesn't need much practise to become comfortable with new recievers, and b) he's played with some of these guys before.

After all the talk from some people about wanting to get Anderson on the Vikes, I say the guy looked terrible in the Pro-Bowl. Getting to the Pro-Bowl by default, his passing game looked worse than TJ's. Does anyone still want to give up a 1st and
    3rd draft choice for him?
Please, please, please....tell me you are not being serious.

You are going to judge this guy on his Pro Bowl performance?
I was never big on this kid at all (you can look back at my posts to verify this), but using the Pro Bowl against him is silly.

Besides, can people have bad games?
I am almost certain that all of the greats have had miserable performances.

OK, I'm totally stupid for even thinking of mentioning this! I'm sorry guys and gals. I'll try to do better next time.

    Re: Anyone Still Want Anderson?

I dont think he looked all that bad.
yeah, his timing was off and he didn't do that well but you could attribute it to not being familiar with his players/schemes.

Romo on the other hand had multiple balls tipped at the line and was constantly making poor throws.
Combine that with his play down the stretch and in the playoffs and i would be a little concerned if i was a cowboy fan/coach.
He certainly has his moments where he looks great but some of his play, or lack thereof, down the stretch is a cause for concern IMO.
Oh well, enough derailing this thread with that thought.

I would not be opposed to the vikings acquiring Anderson for a 1st and 3rd.
That would allow us to get a receiver in the second and still have a good 3rd rounder.
Anderson would probably need a contract similar to what Schaub got last year but he also has more experience and has shown more than Schaub at that time.
He would be a definite improvement over T-Jack but not necessarily next year.

Well, be negative all you want, but for a first year starter with no help at WR... he didn't look too bad. He'll get better with help at TE and WR.

So, it's not a good thing to have a QB that can throw really, really far and a WR that can run really, really fast?
I thought the 'chuck it deep' crowd liked that combination.
