I'm seriously thinking about attending the ESPN Draft Day Show this year.....

I'm in the process of finding out about tickets....Not sure if day one tickets will be available, if not, maybe even attend day two..

I'm really hoping for day one though.....

Anyone else think they might like to hit the Big Apple and catch the show?

I've never been, but would think that it could be a blast....

Let's try to make it happen...
Get the details...I may be able to swing it...it would be a great experience!
Thats what I was thinking Cajun.......We could easily figure out train scheduals, and meet at Grand Central Station..

I could come in from Htfd, and you DC......I hate driving into the city..

Cheaper and easier for me to take Amtrack....
I agree...the train is the way to go! Let's try to make this happen!
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

I found some info on the 2004 draft that may be the same as this years..

Tickets are FREE, they are given out the day of the Draft...Starts on a Saturday....Tickets are good for day one and day two.

The Draft is held at, The Theater, Madison Square Garden NYC...

Doors open at 11:00, but tickets are given, one per person and the ticket booth opens at 9:00 am.....Approx. 3,000 tickets will be handed out..

I'll have to keep an eye open, I don't think the info is out for this year yet.....I'd guess, right after the Combine
The draft is awesome and I watch almost every pick it's on April 29-30 this year. I do believe that they moved the draft location last year to some convention center because they outgrew The Theater at Madison Square Garden. A couple of buddies and I are also looking into flying out to NYC for this years draft and we will be in full Viking attire if we go so we could meet up.

The Vikings do hold a Draft party at Winter Park but how do you get tickets and what do they cost?

    DarrinNelsonguy,

That would be great if you and your friends could make it, I'll post when I get more info..

Cajun and I could meet at Grand Central, then hook up with you guys....

Would you stay for day two also?.......I'de have to base that on what everyone else wanted to do..

Let's all keep an eye out for info and post it here if you come across any.....

Re: Anyone interested in attending the Draft this year?

It was at the Javitz Center last year.

Im only 2 quick train rides away from Penn Station in Manhattan, so if it were at MSG, I would definitely go. But I think the Javitz is pretty close too, by subway.

I'd like to go but it's not really up to me, cause I usually go to my friends house and watch there, so I don't know if they'd be willing to go, since they'd be with all vikings fans, and they'll be enduring another horrible Jets off season.
