Anyone going to the NFL Draft in NYC?
I just purchased an NFL Experience package through NFL.com for tickets and a tour of the draft.
Is anyone planning to go to the event at Radio City??

Re: Anyone going to the NFL Draft in NYC?
My brother was talking to me about it when I was home for Easter this past weekend, I'm thinking about going. But it might be difficult for me to get there early enough to get in after the night I will probably have that friday.

Well I went to the Draft last year.
It was a blast.
I was able to purchase tickets through a broker.
The Draft at Radio city is free as long as you wait in line all day long.
Some People wait in line at 5 am and doors open at 1pm. Its a ticket wrist band type of process. I must say I was glad not to wait there all day long.
Its easier to pay for the tickets through the NFL and go in before everyone else and get there at 12:45 and not be tired before the long day even starts.
A few things you need to know about the draft.
They serve no alcohol at this event They have no re-entry if you want to leave for a while.
They have no smoking sections and no access to outside smoking sections.
They only have hotdogs, chips, popcorn and soda and water for sale.
I saw some candy and few snacks.
When you go in they give you a back pack full of free stuff.
A draft info pack with players/postions info.
They give you a radio walkman for freqencies of nfl access and espn coverage.
A first round mock draft contest presented by Topps. Football cards, coupons etc.
Ill make sure this year ill get tipsey before i go in.
Then just watch the process and enjoy.

Re: Anyone going to the NFL Draft in NYC?
Would love to go one day.
Would rather sit in the Warroom though if they would let me.
Wonder how much a package for that costs....
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Scout.com seems to think the Vikes will go with one of these since they meet the needs, and character that the Vikings look for.

There might be flashier talents still on the board when the Vikings pick in the first round, but given the numerous character concerns of some of those players, don’t be at all surprised if these three players are on their radar.

Not sure about Britton.
Anyway, Peria and Britton are both gone by 22, we take Hakeem, and Darius goes early in the second but we get Mickens with our second (in my mock). Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Re: Anyone going to the NFL Draft in NYC?
Britton at 22 is a HUGE reach.
I hope we don't just grab him since he is the next best OT when there is far greater talent still on the table.
