    FIVE TIMES.

I don't think it's the exact numbers that confuse him, rather than the concept. LATE ROUND PICKS RARELY EVER WORK OUT!
    LOL, confused, me? Yea right.

    Lets try another tact.........

Who are your top 10 QB's of all time? My list......

    1. Bart Starr
    2. Joe Montanna
    3. Sammy Baugh
    4. Otto Graham
    5. Tom Brady
    6. Johnny Unitas
    7. Roger Staubach
    8. Steve Young
    9. Peton Manning
    10. The Noodle (Suprised I bet)

What round was each of those taken in?

I'll even go one step further.......the next 10.....

    11. Fran Tarkenton
    12. Terry Bradshaw
    13. Joe Nameth
    14. Bobby Lane
    15. Len Dawson
    16. Jim Kelley
    17. Warren Moon
    18. Kenny Anderson
    19. Y.A Tittle
    20. Dan Fouts

How about the top 10 biggest busts at QB (might spell a few wrong). Were were these cats drafted?

    1. Todd Marinovich
    2. David Carr
    3. Ryan leaf
    4. Andre Ware
    5. Hethe Shuler
    6. Rich Mirer
    7. David Klingler
    8. Akili Smith
    9. Todd Blackledge
    10. Joey Harrington, Cade Mcnown, Dan Mcgwire, Kelly Stouffer

Long story short, sure, its only logical that the best QB's would be taken first and that would equate to a higher success rate, but it isn't like you don't have a chance at finding someone if you get a kid out of the first round.

Not sure why that concept is considered being confused.B)

    No Jamarcus Russell?
I am NOT here to provide good football insight or rational observations. I am an emotional 19 year old Viking fan and I expect you to adjust your expectations from my posts.

Why, he wasn't highly touted. Heck, most people didn't even know who he was. He wasn't taken high in the first round and given a huge gauranteed salary.

Thats the great thing about kids taken later. They don't cost you anything and if they don't work out, your team isn't set back years and years for missing on them.

In the end, TJ won games and didn't cost alot of money. The guys on that list forever scarred the organizations that took them.
