    Amobi Okoye & Anthony Spencer

I was listening to NFL Access this morning & they were talking about DL's Anthony Spencer & Amobi Okoye.

One announcer claimed Anthony Spencer would be the steal of the draft.

One announcer claimed Amobi Okoye will be a phenom in the NFL.

I don't know where either of these players are projected to fall in the draft & since I don't watch college ball, I have never seen either of them play.

What are your thoughts of drafting one of these DL in a later round?

I may be wrong, but I thought Okoye was a DE.....

I've seen him play and he is a big, fast, sure tackler.......

Kid, yes kid, was only 16 when introduced to football and he is now only 20.

If he possesses the skills he has now as a 20 years old, I can't imagine the beast he could become by say 23-24.....

I believe he has been ranked by most to be the 3rd best pick at his position in the upcoming draft...Most are saying a lower first round very solid 2nd round choice.....I wouldn't take him with a first, but would think about it for a second round pick.

Wrong, he played football in highschool at the age of 13.. and played his first NCAA game at the age of 16(youngest ever)

Thanks for the correction Skum, I was watching the combine and they where talking about him. I thought thats what one of the guys said about him....Maybe he was wrong, because I swear he said he never played till 16 years old.....Then again, I'm getting old and senial, probably just heard what I wanted to...LLOL

Couple of sites have them ranked pretty high with respect to capabilities and how they project out in the NFL.

I really think the Vikes will work hard at getting at least 2 good DE prospects out of this draft and maybe one DE in FA.

Reasoning behind this is the revelation from B-chill on Erasmus and Eudeze's performance last year (even though he played out of position).

I'll bet you and most teams would but he will go in round 1 and he is not a DE he is a defensive tackle and may be considered better then Alan Branch depending on who you ask.
