Re: Allen to skip voluntary workouts

Just cause I had some fun with this at the beginning doesn't alleviate the issue I have with Vet players not participating in events like this.

If I was in charge they would be there.

Re: Allen to skip voluntary workouts

I don't have a problem with it.. Just like I don't have a problem with Owens skipping them every year to work out with his personal trainer

These workouts are pretty pointless.. Unless your really new to your team and it helps get used to them and what not.. I don't feel Allen needs to be there.. Nor do I think Adrian Peterson or any other good player on our team that has a couple years under the belt

They will still work out.. And be there when it's manditory

And then they would still skip it, and then you have an issue over what should and could have been nothing. The players on this team are adults, not children, they won't miss a beat of some players are not there for voluntary workouts. Furthermore, if by someone like Allen not showing up somehow did mess with their workouts, they probably should not be on the team because they obviously don't have the proper mental state/drive to be in the National Football League

    Issue solved.

If a guy like the new HC at Denver can get rid of a malcontent like Cutler I could get rid of anyone..... :

Re: Allen to skip voluntary workouts

    Haha wowwwwww

He wants to be at home working out and getting in much better shape and repeat his results.. Im not concerned about that

Id want to be in Ariz or Minny at this time too.

He doesn't need to "gel" or anything.. He rushes the passer.. Why does it matter? He has all the mini camp and training camp and preseason he needs to get ready with the team

We don't need him here in April

So your opinion differs slightly from mine.

I am still cut of the ilk that it is a team sport.
Our leaders of that team need to be there.
    Cut and dry.
Make all the points you want.
Not gonna change my way of thinking.

Again, if I was running the love boat, they would be there or they could find employement elsewhere.
And don't try to say that that kindof stuff doesn't happen on other teams.
