after the seachickens lost, people were talking about shaun alexander and his 80 million dollar question!!! I dont think seattle will want to pay him the money and here is why... for one thing they just signed one of their linemen to a long term deal which leaves the franchise tag wide open, but alexander signed the one year deal saying that he WON'T take a franchise tag next season!! Secondly, i dont believe they want to pay him 80 MILLION DOLLARS!!! Thirdly, there is talk that they think he will start making a progressional decline in his ability due to his age (he isn't that old, but he is getting up there). The reason i am bringing this up is that he would fit perfect in minnesota IF seattle doesn't sign him again! He would be coming into a west coast offense, which he is used too! Also, i think the new coach wants to have a dominate back (not a draft pick like USC's white or that minnesota gopher) that can come in and be an affective force that can take the pressure off the receivers, QB, and especially the LINEMEN!! We got plenty of cap room, and by the looks of Wilf firing Tice right after the game, i believe he wants to make drastic changes!!! Open to all comments, good or bad!! :grin:
