Re: Access Vikings:Drafting Percy Harvin
Great video ... I am really excited to see him here in Minnesota.
I know we could use a tackle ... I know Oher was there ... but there is just something exciting about getting a WR or RB. Really looking forward to seeing him on the field.
Funny though ... I never got all that excited about Troy Williamson and he went 15 spots higher than this.

Re: Access Vikings:Drafting Percy Harvin
You know something else I saw that really impressed me about Harvin. In college he touched the ball 327 times in three years and not once did he fumble ... and that is not that he didn't LOSE a fumble ... he actually did not put the ball on the ground a single time.

AD may need to get a few pointers from the rookie.
Edit: Well, nevermind that then.

I was thinking the same thing. That is pretty incredible though. That is a lot of touches ... and from the tape, you can see him bounce off of a number of hits and such and still never lose the ball at any time."midgensa" wrote:

EDIT: I am also wondering how credible this is as they have Adrian Peterson listed as no fumbles in his college career also ... which would be unreal considering he had 747 carries.

Re: Access Vikings:Drafting Percy Harvin
Although I really wanted Maclin over Harvin ( feel Maclin you can get the most out of Maclin with out specialty packages for him) I am happy we selected a WR in the first round. It was our biggest need.
I am sad to see some of the other players go( JJ, AA DR etc)
