Just to be clear, are you saying you think Landry is a better pick? Or, are you saying you dont think we will be able to make a move to get Johnson and therefore Landry is the best choice available?

I would guess he was thinking something along the lines of we have no chance of moving up to get him. He might not even be on the board if we even get the chance to move up.

I adjusted the picks according to BPA and Team Needs.
Pretty hard to really do it both ways, however:

If Moss goes to Pukers and Rodgers goes to Raiders, the Raiders have thier QB and are probably open to the best player available (heck on the board) and that is CJ.

As far as Landry, without CJ there then Gruden (who has loaded up at the QB position in FA) will probably go D.
My bet would be Landry.

As Undisputed said, moving all the way up to 1 to get CJ, not matter how big a stud he is, is suicide for the team.
You would just have to give up way to much taking away alot of picks for this year and years to follow.

Again, this is all speculation and should not be taken as truth.
