Re: With the 72nd pick in the draft the Vikings pick?
Man, this draft is turning out perfectly IMO.
Adrian Peterson is a guy that can make a HUGE impact on offense.
Sidney Rice is a great playmaker that can start right away.
Marcus McCauley is a solid cornerback that will start at nickel next year IMO.

Good pick, I was hoping we would have got Paul Williams...from Fresno State lol, maybe he'll fall to the 4th.

Haha, I would say that he has to give up the playcalling on offense but really our offense was piss poor last year. We'll see improvements this year hopefully.

awesome 3 rounds!..this mccauley guy is another perfect fit for our defense..plays big and physical at the line of scrimmage
People who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.

AP ??A physical open-field tackler, McCauley built a reputation with his ability to take on the powerful running backs while also displaying the quickness needed to shut down speedy wide receivers. But after suffering a concussion in the second game of the 2006 season against Oregon, his performance slipped and he was eventually replaced in the starting lineup for the team's final four games.
McC ??
I think that the concussion thing might be worse since once they start, they usually get more frequent.
I hope they were just being precautious in Oregon last year and keeping him out for health.
