Re: With the 54th Pick the Vikings Select Phil Loadholt

    GOOD GOD!
    ;D

Had an arm span of 36 1/2 inches and a hand span of 10 inches at the combine.
has a deep kick-slide and the long arms to keep the pass rusher at bay
Massive man who can engulf his opponent, turn him away from the ballcarrier and pancake him to the ground

Its a ok pick but we should have gone with Beatty. Now teams with elite pass rushers is going to own us regardless of what side they play him
It's not like he can be any worse than cook.
The two of them are going to be extremely large bookends for the O line!

If all he can do is just stand still before the ball is snapped he's already better than Cook! Going to miss Cook though, he was always good for at least 2 procedure or holding calls at critical times during the game to kill a drive.

So according to the vikings website roster Mt. McKinney has got him by 1/4" and 3 lbs.

I am going to go ahead and register my trademark right now on the new nickname for the Vikings O-line.
    "The Twin Towers".

I am busy printing t-shirts in my basement sweatshop right now, gotta run keep those kids working....

Since McKinnie is call "Mount McKinnie"

    The "Twin Peaks"?

    Hutch 6'5"
    Herrera 6'2"
    Maybe a 6'6" C isn't that tall.

the video is in the upper right corner.
That is one large scary man when he's running like that!
    Seems pretty quick actually.
    Here's what I didn't like

He was also credited with 13 touchdown-resulting blocks, but suffered through a rash of penalties, as he was flagged a team-high 13 times.

As a Sooner fan I did get p.o.'d at Loadholt's penalties over the years, but he dramatically turned it around his senior year.
I don't know if transitioning from a Jr. College contributed to the problem but he seemed to lick it.
It will be excited for Sooner fans to see Phil and AD teamed up again.....2,000 yards:
