Want to break them down as far as UFA vs. RFA? Makes a big difference in targeting...

These are all listed as UFAs. I haven't put any RFAs on this list.

Hence why the post says...UFAs.

The strange thing with the uncapped year for the Vikings (and other top 8 teams in the league) is they can sign free agents at or below the salary of the free agents they lost. This was setup to prevent the better teams from stacking their rosters. When you look at guys like Sapp, Tahi, Paymah and Lewis I don't think there's much money in those salaries. Chester Taylor on the other hand has some money in his contract.

As much as I'd love to resign CT, him getting a fat contract elsewhere could give us a lil more flex in FA. Or, if Ray goes (doh!) Or, McKinnie???

Losing McKinnie might look a lot better if we got, perhaps, McNeil to replace him. IF SD doesn't resign...? Ohoh, and, he's only a 4 year player...all those guys are RFA if we don't suddenly get a new CBA.

Good condensed list. Our biggest FA need IMO are at LB, CB I believe that we can get the rest done via the draft. A couple of names that really jump off the page are bolded above.

Half of these aren't UFA if they don't get a new CBA done. Which I figure won't happen.

So, from that list that IBP made, you'll have just one UFA and one guy who, afaik, still has a year left on his 4 year contract.
