QB I like that could be available for us now is Josh Freeman.
Can't wait to get a look at that kid throwing to see if the reports are true.....
Although I hated him in college...he committed to Nebraska than pulled out

I guess that shows his intelligence though, he didn't want to play for Callahan!

Back to the player, cannon arm, pocket presence, better runner than you would assume, shifts nicely in the pocket to avoid the rush.
Those are the positives.
He can be rattled, plays with high emotion at times, tends to force throws due to his cannon arm.
The comparisons to Flacco are just.
Similar size and the ball just whistles out of his hand.
I think Flacco is a more steady, measured kid at this point.
But, I think I'm with you...Freeman is a potential (potential), long-term answer at the most important position on a football Team.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

As a matter of fact, I do know

Listen to me...we do not want Freeman.
I was huge on Jordy, and had a man-crush on Sproles, but we need to stay away from Freeman.
He has all the measurable attributes that you want in a quarterback, but he threw WAY too many picks in college and mainly padded his stats against scrub teams.
He never willed KSU to victory, and I'd rather have a Chad May or Michael Bishop starting than Freeman.

Thanks for the insight. I have not really watched him much. Can't wait to watch him today. In no way do I want to draft a QB in the 1st this year. Next year we should draft a QB in the 1st. Much more talent."Marrdro" wrote:

After watching the Senior Bowl again, a couple of guys jumped out at me.
Patrick Chung, S, Oregon
Eric Wood, C, Louisville
and of course Alphonso Smith.

Sounds like any junior QB at the collegiate level who is coming out early.
Course if anyone is looking for a instant starter then they will be able to find all kinds of fault with him.
I for one am looking for someone who can push/replace JDB if he doesn't progress this year. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.
