Re: 2008 Viking First Round Mock Draft (Actual possible choices)
NEW OPTION! Forget the first round pick and third round pick and get Jared Allen. Make Aaron Rodgers monday night debut an unforgettable one with Allen chasing him around. Who's with me?
Things you would NEVER hear a Green Bay Packer fan say:
1."No kids in the back of the pick-up, it s just not safe."
2."I ll take Shakespeare for 1000, Alex."
3."Duct tape won t fix that."
4."Checkmate."
5."Nope, no more for me. I m driving tonight."

Rodger drops back into a 5 step drop, WR is covered so he steps up into a pocket to avoid the outside rush from RDE Robison and LDE Allen only to be met by Phat Pat who smashes his young assssssss.
A injury timeout insues and the Pack have to bring in.......wait, who the hell do they bring in when sissy boy gets hurt right away again......?
;DMany many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

OR be a total bustI voted Groves! I think he would be a nice addition, one of those tweener guys that can get to the quarterback
Undersized DEs scare me. Why play the smallest guy on the field against the biggest?

Yah, Dwight Freeney and Peppers or Allen wouldn't be able to do anything against "Mt. Mckinnie" I bet

Offensive Line depth is what I want to see!
I clicked on Campbell by mistake :
Williams would go a long way in improving depth and helping to keep AP going strong for years to come.
Always nice to see a guy without an injury history!

Allen is 6 something 270ish I wouldn't say he's undersized. Same goes for Peppers he's long and lanky albeit maybe a bit light. Still not 'small'. And Freeney hasn't even been that good over the last few years."jessejames09" wrote:

There are way more successful DE's over 260 lbs than under. You just picked a notoriously bad tackle at defending the speed rush. They would all smoke McKinnie (4-5 times out of 50) and you know it.

Most excellent sarcasm.
